+====== Connection differences for Mad City Piezo to Adept Piezo upgrades ======
 +
+**When upgrading from a Mad City Piezo control box to an ASI Adept Piezo control box there are several differences to note regarding connections.**
 +
+The DB-9 Male cable from the Piezo Z part of the stage connected to the MCL Nano-Drive at the DB-9 Female will now connect to the ASI Adept Piezo control box at the DB-9 Female labeled “PZ STAGE”.
 +
+The “Input” on the Mad City Piezo control box is now internalized and is not on the ASI Adept Piezo control box.
 +
+The “Sensor” on the Mad City Piezo control box is now connected to the “PZ SENSOR” on the ASI Adept Piezo control box.
 +
+The “HV/10”, (or High Voltage divided by ten Sensor), on the Mad City Piezo control box is now internalized on the ASI Adept Piezo control box.
 +
+And lastly the ASI Adept Piezo control box has an additional “PZ EXT.IN” input to accept a 0-10 VDC control voltage to move the Piezo that the Mad City Piezo control box does not have, see pictures 1 and 2.

 +
+If by accident the PZ STAGE DB-9F header has styrene plugs in the bottom outer holes, (6 & 9), then the header was designed for Adept Piezo stages and will have to be changed to a Mad City Piezo header. Contact ASI for more information.
