ASI has limited official support for MATLAB which is captured in a set of LabView VIs found at https://www.asiimaging.com/support/downloads/ms-2000-control-using-nis-labview-and-the-serial-port/.

Behind the scenes everything works based on exchanging serial messages with the ASI controllers. See our Quick Start on Serial Commands page if functionality is required that is not explicitly implemented in the LabView VIs.
